This is for our children...their children...and their children. This is for our family...this is for us!
Originally, this blog was my wife's, but I stole it since she stopped using it. So, now it will be a place for both of us to write and journal our experiences during this journey of getting healthy. For the both of us its more than just losing weight. Yes, we both want to be thin, but more importantly we want to be around for eachother and our children for a long, long time. We want t show our children that it just isn't okay to treat what He gave us so poorly...
We have stopped making excuses and are ready to face the challenge...are you?

204 lbs (-6 this week!)

Sunday April 10th 2011

Breakfast: egg (252c), tortilla (80c), turkey sausage (130c), 1 tbsp of cheese (12c)
Lunch: Ham sandwich with spinach and miracle whip (208c), 10 carrots (33c)
Snack: 5 ritz crackers (70c), 1 chicken drumstick (74c)
Dinner: 6 ozs chicken breast (181c), 7 aspargus (25c), 2/3 cup mashed potatoes (181c)
Dessert: 1/2 cup lowfat ice cream (120c)

Total calories: 1366

Today was good. We went on our hike this morning but only ended up going about a mile because there was a bike race. The bikes kept trying to run us over. I went to the gym and brought my daughter along. She ran a whole mile on the treadmill without stopping. I was so proud of her. I only burned about 250 calories at the gym. I was so exhausted today. I think that I am definitely going to bed early tonight. I drank the right amount of water and no dr. p again. I did really good on that this week. Hopefully tomorrow I will be 7 lbs lost in a week and that will be 1/3 of my first goal in just a week. Hopefully...
