As I wrote earlier, today I decided to bring back sprints and do focus work on my abs. To be honest, I wasn't sure how I was going to do- it's been about 4 weeks since I have done sprinting. I wasn't sure about how I was going to split it up. I knew I wanted to do 40 minutes of cardio; When I hit the treadmill I decided to do 2 minutes on 3 minutes off. 2 minutes at 8:00/mile and 3 minutes at 15:00/mile. My HR was between 132 and 171 (near the end, when I wanted to die/stop). Then it was right over to abs. I started off with the Pallof Press- a killer core workout. I did 3 sets of 12, then it was crunches and reverse crunches. I was sweating the entire time- literally dripping sweat. It was good!
Eating today has been very good- the usual.
I don't remember what my weight was this morning. (Hopefully it was good!)

This is for our children...their children...and their children. This is for our family...this is for us!
Originally, this blog was my wife's, but I stole it since she stopped using it. So, now it will be a place for both of us to write and journal our experiences during this journey of getting healthy. For the both of us its more than just losing weight. Yes, we both want to be thin, but more importantly we want to be around for eachother and our children for a long, long time. We want t show our children that it just isn't okay to treat what He gave us so poorly...
We have stopped making excuses and are ready to face the challenge...are you?
