4/3/2011-4/11/2011
I am at 204.8 on my scale. That is a total loss of 6 lbs for the week. This is amazing! I exercised at the gym 3 times last week. I went walking only twice. I drank the right amount of water 4/7 days. I also stayed in my caloric range 5/7 days! This is awesome! My husband lost 7 lbs! I taught my daughter a lot about exercise and protein last week and even gave her a challenge. She is excited to work out with me. I hope to do better this week by exercising 4 times and walking at least 5 times. I am thinking about getting a personal training session on Wednesday. I will see how much weight I lose on my own. My 2nd and 3rd weeks of dieting are notoriusly for doing horribly. And then I quit... I have to stay on this week no matter what that scale says.
Total of 6 lbs lost or 2.85%. Just under a 1/3 of the way to my first goal of losing 10% of my body weight.

This is for our children...their children...and their children. This is for our family...this is for us!
Originally, this blog was my wife's, but I stole it since she stopped using it. So, now it will be a place for both of us to write and journal our experiences during this journey of getting healthy. For the both of us its more than just losing weight. Yes, we both want to be thin, but more importantly we want to be around for eachother and our children for a long, long time. We want t show our children that it just isn't okay to treat what He gave us so poorly...
We have stopped making excuses and are ready to face the challenge...are you?
