Originally, this blog was my wife's, but I stole it since she stopped using it. So, now it will be a place for both of us to write and journal our experiences during this journey of getting healthy. For the both of us its more than just losing weight. Yes, we both want to be thin, but more importantly we want to be around for eachother and our children for a long, long time. We want t show our children that it just isn't okay to treat what He gave us so poorly...

Cardio, Cardio, Cardio and 179.6lbs

I tried my damned-est not to eat last night- I want with about 4 small cubes of watermelon and 10 grapes. That was all.  I wanted to eat a lot more. And when I woke up this morning...179.6lbs. Now, just need to stay down here. I am a little worried since this weekend will be a little messed up due to our Epilepsy Walk (go ADEY'S ARMY!) Saturday I wont be able to do my 7 miles because we have to leave very early to make it downtown and then we are going out to eat for lunch with all 21 "solders."  Maybe we will get something going in the evening. We will see.  Sunday, father's day, I might sneak away in the morning to get in a run. 
Anyhow, back to today. Gym time was spent as follows- 45 minutes sprinting 1:30 sprint at an 8.5 with a rest of 2 minutes at 4.0. Probably the hardest sprinting session I have had yet. Then I walked on a 9% incline at a 4.0. Crazy stuff and I was dripping with sweat! I listed to a podcast about bodybuilding. It was actually a little depression because they were talking about how body builders can't be trusted. "A bodybuilder is a bodybuilder, is a bodybuilder, is a bodybuilder." And "you can tell when a body builder is lying when his lips are moving." I guess I just have no clue about the body building world, apparently you can't trust them and they are gullible (again, this is what I was listening to- come to think of it I am not sure why kept listening).  I guess some recently turned pro body builder lady approached someone to be her "body guard" so she can do private sessions for men. She was "pretty much willing to do anything." I guess you dont make much money in the body building industry, but yuckie men will pay big bucks to watch a lady flex her muscles. I don't get it.
I also listed to several weeks worth of the Kris Grethin daily video trainers. I think it is really a good idea to listen to these, as I am missing important info by just reading the workout prompts.
I'm excited for only 3 miles tomorrow. I don't remember what group I will be doing for strength. I'll have to look it up.

I've been beckoned to bed.
