Ok, as I posted earlier my buddy was going to bring over the Insanity workout DVD. He picked out the cardio one and HOLY SHIT! The warm up was harder than the main workout. 10 minutes in and my heart rate was 144, 20 minutes in 164. I did complete it and I didn't puke, but my legs were on fire and I am sure I didn't keep the perfect form. According to my watch I burned 841 calories in 55 minutes. Freaking crazy.

I've just finished week3 of this madness and I remember well the pain for the first few days!
ReplyDeleteIf you can get the whole set I would advise anyone to go for it - the buzz you get from pushing yourself and digging deeper than you ever thought possible is amazing :)
Once this round is over I'm all set for the 2nd round which I will do alongside 'Slim in 6'. After the 2nd round I'm giving 'TurboFire' a go!
Completely insane workouts that leave you sweating buckets, completely knackered and chewing the floor several times - but you'll smile the whole time cos you love it.
