This is for our children...their children...and their children. This is for our family...this is for us!
Originally, this blog was my wife's, but I stole it since she stopped using it. So, now it will be a place for both of us to write and journal our experiences during this journey of getting healthy. For the both of us its more than just losing weight. Yes, we both want to be thin, but more importantly we want to be around for eachother and our children for a long, long time. We want t show our children that it just isn't okay to treat what He gave us so poorly...
We have stopped making excuses and are ready to face the challenge...are you?

Starting weight for week: 210

Monday April 4th 2011
Breakfast: 1 cup of cheerios (100c), 2 tbls of whole milk (18c) (we ran out of our fat-free milk)
Lunch: 1 can of tuna in water (100c), 2 pieces of whole wheat bread (120c), Miracle Whip light (20c), 10 baby carrots (33c), and 4 strawberries (14c)
Snack: Banana (109c), 1 hard boiled egg (70c)
Dinner: 1 bbq chicken thigh with no skin (82c), seasoned rice (200c), 1 cup of green beans (34c)

Total calories: 900
That is not the amount of calories that I want to have. It is a little weird that I actually felt that I was eating all day. Its just that I was eating fruits and vegetables instead of stuff of substance. I was starving when I went to bed last night and now I know why.

I only drank 1 glass of water and didn't make it to the gym. I slept from 1130-7 A.M.
