Phew, the day is almost done! Boy was it busy. It started VERY early- Adey woke up this morning at 1:30 am with a fever! She was 102.3 poor firey little girl. Immediately we grabbed the ibuprofen, Tylenol and clozepate (extra seizure med). Adey took her medication like a trooper She was in a great mood too. And the BEST news- No seizures! This is the 2 fever we have had in the last 2 months with no seizures- I really think the clozepate has made all the difference. We made it back to bed around 2:45 and then Adey woke us up at 7- still smiling. I swear that girl gets the short end of the stick and she still smiles!
After the usual morning routine, I hit the gym. Started with the free weights first- biceps and shoulders. I worked both muscle groups until I couldn't lift my arms! By the time I was done, I only had about 20 minutes to do cardio- it was stair stepper day. Not as much cardio as I would have liked but some is better then none.
Jessica had the day off of work and took both girls to the doctors office and $60 later we find that both girls have ear infections! I can't wait for their tube and adenoid surgery in a couple of weeks. I really hope these tubes stay in a little while longer.
Finally we spent the evening at Devanne's softball game. The girls ran around, we played on the toys and I was actually able to watch about 50% of her game. Not too bad.
I've noticed my posts are getting shorter and shorter. I need to find other things to write about because I can see that I basically write the same things everyday. I'll work on that. Until tomorrow...

This is for our children...their children...and their children. This is for our family...this is for us!
Originally, this blog was my wife's, but I stole it since she stopped using it. So, now it will be a place for both of us to write and journal our experiences during this journey of getting healthy. For the both of us its more than just losing weight. Yes, we both want to be thin, but more importantly we want to be around for eachother and our children for a long, long time. We want t show our children that it just isn't okay to treat what He gave us so poorly...
We have stopped making excuses and are ready to face the challenge...are you?
